. . . So that’s where I’ll meet you, to guide you through the guesswork and into yoga that works for you!  

I can help you navigate the challenges of establishing a yoga practice when you have additional health concerns.  Gain a comprehensive, holistic approach to managing pain, fatigue, and the other symptoms that plague your day-to-day life.  Yoga Where You Are includes personalized strategies for pain relief, energy management, and lifestyle adjustments. Having a mentor who has walked the same path and successfully managed the same struggles can provide not only practical solutions but also emotional support and encouragement. Together, we create a sustainable, tailored plan that addresses both physical and mental well-being.

Growth is not always linear, so neither is my approach.  Learn to work with your body so as to not exacerbate your symptoms.  Remember that this is the long game, not an overnight fix.  But I’ll be with you every step of the way!

  1. You Are Here – Together we will discuss your current abilities and boundaries so that we can create an appropriate plan for wherever you are on your journey and where you want to go.
  2. Daily Efforts We’ll identify opportunities for practice in your day-to-day routine so that you can establish consistent, healthy habits that you can reasonably maintain.
  3. Engage the BodyFocus on gentle movements so that you can build strength, increase mobility, and establish body awareness. 
  4. Embody the Breath Learn to regulate your breath and transform your practice through a stronger mind-body connection.
  5.  Balance the MindIncorporate meditation practices so that you can experience a deeper level of rest.
  6. Re-engage Your Life – Carry on!  There is always more to learn, more to practice, so there is no “end” to your yoga journey, just how you choose to navigate.

1:1 Guidance

Meet with me every two weeks to discuss your journey.  What changes are you experiencing?  Where do you feel you need more direction?  How can we make this work for you?  Together we will find an appropriate path forward for you and make adjustments along the way.

Individualized Recommendations

Based on our discussions, you will receive a set of practice videos to choose from on any given day.  You’ll have good days and bad days, this gives you the flexibility to accommodate your body.  Revisit practices that bring you relief at your convenience, even after you have moved on to practice on your own.

Video Library Access

Exploring additional practices helps you to develop a deeper intuition for your personal practice.  The library includes pose modifications and a deeper look at individual poses, pranayama, and meditation practices.
