A 7-week series
Dive deep into yoga basics and develop a meaningful practice that takes you beyond what you see in a pose. Each week you will receive an email with links to:
- A brief video covering the main teaching points for that week
- 1-hr yogasana session incorporating these principles
- 3 abbreviated sessions that allow you to practice within your schedule and your abilities
- Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation basics to round out your practice
This is a progressive series, each week building on the week before. All videos will remain available to you to revisit for future practice. No subscription, no recurring fees.
Never stepped foot on a mat?
That’s ok! Everyone who “wants to try yoga” has the same problem: they don’t know where to start. And classes labeled for beginners aren’t always taught to those beginners.
“Line up your feet.”

But HOW? What does that even MEAN?! These are merely a few points taught throughout this series. The videos are paced in a way that you can actually incorporate these principles and alignment in real time, not just rushing through the steps to keep up.
More than poses
I began my yoga practice following DVDs at home – the most basic instructions to get into something that looked like yoga. The live classes that I attended over the years weren’t all that different. It wasn’t until I met my teacher, Marci, that I realized all I was really doing was (poorly) stretching. This series is all about teaching the things that I wish I learned from the beginning.
- How to move with the breath
- How to line up the feet and build the pose on that foundation
- How to modify poses to help progress deeper
- How to start a meditation and pranayama practice (hint: trying to sit still while your head races until a timer beeps isn’t it)
- Basic yogic philosophy that explains the WHY
It’s where my practice changed from one that I struggled through into one that helped me to grow, on and off of my yoga mat.
