Neck Stretches
Stretching your neck while lying on your back provides support to your head to take some of the strain off of the muscles. This sequence walks you through moving the cervical spine in 6 directions.
Neck health has become more of a focus of mine over the years. After years of “rocking out” with my long hair and a few rather serious cases of whiplash, my neck is not as healthy or stable as it should be. Cervical spine damage is also an ongoing concern with rheumatoid arthritis, so I’ve got that going for me too. For ALL of these reasons, I know I need to take better care of my neck.
