Posture Flow
I love this brief sequence because it addresses two important components of posture: your spine and your shoulders. Both work together to keep you upright, your spine supporting from below and your shoulders maintaining alignment from above. Try to maintain a neutral spine as you move your arms and shoulders, focusing on the strength and mobility of muscles surrounding your shoulder blades. And when it is time to move your spine, maintain a long, strong line from your hips through your shoulders and continuing on past your ears.
At the end of this practice, take a moment in a comfortable seated position to feel the practice resonate in your newfound posture.
