Vitality & Happiness: Warm-up and Cooldown
The warm-up and cooldown portions of a sequence can be used as a daily practice while you work toward the full sequence. Your focus for this abbreviated sequence should be your breath. How do you feel when you link your movements to your breath? Is your breath even and steady, or does it start to strain as your attention shifts? Get to know your breath in your asana practice so it can happen naturally as your practice develops.
Sit up on a folded blanket or use it to cushion your knees in table pose, but it is an optional prop for the sequence. Set up your space and come into it with a soft heart and open mind.
